Danny Kaplan’s works in clay are the culmination of his relentless search for the quintessential blend of beauty and utility.

Born in New York City and raised in Aix-en-Provence, France, Danny grew up steeped in the rich atmosphere of Provence’s colors, textures and flavors. From this grew a love for interiors and textiles and a passion for ceramics. Visits to the local ‘brocante’ and antique markets showed him firsthand that the elevated and the humble sit beautifully side by side. This, combined with an education in Fine Arts and creative writing in New York City led him to prop styling and later to the birth of his own line of ceramic tableware.
