1. Secure the metal backplate to the junction box, ensuring a solid, level foundation for the fixture.
2. Lift the wooden sconce into position over the backplate.
3. Locate the horizontal metal mounting rod on the back of the fixture, and guide it into the hook at the top of the backplate.
4. Lower the fixture gently until it settles fully into place, resting securely in the hook.
5. Check that it's level and sits flush against the wall.
6. Install the light bulb.

Note: Always confirm power is switched off at the breaker before beginning installation.
