POSITION: SHOWROOM ASSISTANT

REPORTS TO: SHOWROOM MANAGER

POSITION TYPE: FULL TIME

Lawson-Fenning is seeking a highly motivated, customer service oriented individual with a passion for design. A positive attitude, willingness and ability to multitask, and team-oriented mindset are highly desirable. This is an entry-level position, well suited for an individual with prior experience in a client-facing role.

SHOWROOM OPERATIONS

  • Handle all opening and closing procedures
  • Answer the doors and greet all clients and visitors
  • Field all incoming phone calls and delegate internally as necessary
  • Oversee appointments in Acuity, and assist clients in scheduling appointments

SALES SUPPORT

  • Manage release and receipt of product rentals, memos, pick-ups, drop-off
  • Update Airtable when sold product is picked up
  • Securely wrap and package outgoing product

MAINTENANCE & SUPPLIES

  • Maintain visual standards as specified by merchandising team
  • Maintain cleanliness and organizational standards in common areas
  • Manage all office supply inventory and ordering
  • Execute showroom organization projects as needed

SHIPPING & RECEIVING

  • Manage all UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS pick-up, drop-off, and distribution
  • Receive incoming fabric orders and follow internal COM procedure
