TITLE: Showroom Caretaker

REPORTS TO: LF Partners, Showroom Manager & Merchandising Associate

We are seeking an organized and self- motivated individual to join the growing LF team as our Showroom Caretaker. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally detail orientated, disciplined and technically competent in general tradecraft skills. A background in the Furniture production, General Carpentry or Delivery industry is a plus. 

Additionally, the right candidate will demonstrate the ability to complete projects in a timely manner while working within the fluid and fast-paced day to day demands of the showroom. 

PRIMARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assist with Floor Moves and Product Staging (Daily Operation) 
  • Art and Mirror Installation and removal 
  • Lighting Installation (basic wiring knowledge) 
  • Sales Team Assistance (load product into client vehicles, wrap or box smalls in preparation for client pick up)
  • Showroom Maintenance (patch holes, painting, window washing, trash removal, exterior appearance, watering plants, etc.) 
  • Product Receiving Assist- Unpack and stage smalls (for inspection and pricing, managed by others) 
  • General Assistance (stockroom and storage organization, managed by others) 
  • Furniture Touch Up and Restoration 
  • Furniture and showroom display assembly 
  • General Product Transfer- All sold orders transferred to warehouse for shipping preparation 

SECONDARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Delivery Agent- Perform local pickups and deliveries (Third Party Vendors, Client Orders)
  • Transfer Assist- Floor Models and Third-Party goods between showroom and Warehouse (Daily Operation) o Scheduled by and Reports to: Floor Curator and Logistics Manager 
  • Warehouse Support- Assist with receipt of large orders or goods 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Minimum 2+ years trade craft experience in the carpentry, electrical or delivery service fields 
  • Furniture production experience a plus 
  • Ability to monitor and update digital spreadsheets 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent level of professionalism and communication skills 
  • Exceptional organizational skills 
  • Ability to work within all facets of the company requirements 
  • Perform physical duties that include the ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift over 50 lbs.
  • Bilingual (English/ Spanish) Preferred 
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving history
