Ayres

Joana Valdez, Industrial designer from Yucatán, México and Karim Molina, Textile designer from Caracas, Venezuela are Ayres. All of the designs within the collection are made in México.

Ayres design functional and simple objects with a distinct aesthetic. Inspired by the historical, natural and primitive aesthetic, they highlight the beauty of the materials, design and quality. They work with natural materials like Guayacán and Tzalam woods, lava rocks and natural leathers and their processes are completely handmade allowing each object to be a unique piece.
