Paige Stewart is a sculptor and ceramic artist. To those close to her, she has been known to collect rocks and driftwood selected for their beauty and uniqueness. Her abstract sculptures pull from these natural objects as well as facial & figural studies, totemic works, and art deco spaces. Each piece reflects a balanced relationship between the aspects of the feminine and the masculine, realized into black and white forms. Stewart attributes artists like Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Valentine Schlegel, and Georges Jouve to cultivating her desire to become a sculptor, thus broadening her work into a range of materials.
